Hey! My name is Venus Wong (Ashton), and I'm drawn to the quiet emotions and life people live, but rarely mention, and would love to shine light on the little battles that everyone fights but no one talks about through my lenses.

My photography chronicles began when my dad passed down his Sony a390 to 12-year-old me. I reminisce about how he would drive around Singapore while I took unpolished, naive shots of the city.

My love for film and cinematography started through Jack Neo movies that made 13-year-old me fight back tears. I've always been captivated at how much cinematography can convey, even without dialogue. I believe that every frame, shot, cut, and color emphasises and tells the audience a story.
